Your face photos are sensitive, and the measurements we take from them count as biometric data in many places. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, who else handles it, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to support@bunevents.com.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, age and gender, and the session time you book.
- Your answers to the questionnaire, including anything you choose to tell us about your health, skin, routine and budget.
- Photos of your face (six for a consultation, one for the workshop), any progress photos you take later and, if you buy the fashion plan, up to three full-length outfit photos and your style answers (build, budget, colouring).
- Facial measurements: a map of 478 points on your face from your front photos, and the ratios and angles calculated from it.
- Messages you send us, the report or plans we prepare for you, and the consultation itself, which is held on Zoom and not recorded.
- Payment details, which go straight to Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Basic usage data: pages visited and steps completed, to understand how the site is used.
How your photos are processed
When you choose a photo, your face is located on your own device first, so the page can check the angle, light and focus. Only the photos you confirm are uploaded. They are stored in a private storage bucket and shown only through links that expire within hours, to you and to the person reviewing your case.
To read things measurements can't (skin, brows, hair, teeth), your photos and answers are sent to an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic) through OpenRouter, for the purpose of drafting your analysis. These providers process the data to return a response and do not use it to train their models under the terms we use them on. A person reviews and edits everything the AI produces.
We do not use your photos or measurements to train any model, sell them, share them for advertising, show them publicly, or use them to identify you.
Why we use it
To provide the service you paid for: your analysis, plan, progress measurements and support. Your email is also used to sign you in and to tell you when your report is ready. We process your photos and measurements on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give at checkout and can withdraw at any time by asking us to delete them.
Who else handles your data
- Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in.
- Vercel: hosting of this website.
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: sending email.
- OpenRouter and Anthropic: the AI assistant described above.
- Zoom: the live sessions.
- PostHog and Vercel Analytics: anonymous-by-default usage analytics.
The face-landmark model is downloaded to your browser from Google's and jsDelivr's public servers; no photo is sent to them.
How long we keep it
We keep your photos, measurements and report for 12 months after your booking and for up to 12 months after that, so you can come back to your report, and then delete them. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Ask us at any time and we will delete your photos, answers, measurements and report sooner.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to support@bunevents.com from the email address you used. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The service is only for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly accept photos of anyone younger, and delete them if we find any.
